Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Kasadara Technology Solutions Pvt Ltd ("Kasadara", "we", "us") collects through the AbsoluteUI websites, why, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

The data fiduciary (under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) and controller (under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, where it applies) is:

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers these websites (the "Sites"):

• https://aui.kasadara.com (product site);
• https://aui-docs.kasadara.com (documentation);
• https://aui-designer.kasadara.com (Theme Designer).

It also covers messages you send us, for example a security report or a license question.

It does not cover the AbsoluteUI software packages. The packages send no analytics or telemetry to us. Components that make network requests (for example an HTTP client or an upload queue) send them only where your application tells them to. Your application's privacy practices are your responsibility.

3. What we collect, and why

3.1 Analytics, only with your consent

All three Sites use Microsoft Clarity to understand how pages are used, so we can improve them. Clarity stays off until you choose Accept analytics in the banner. Until then, no request is made to Clarity and no analytics cookie is set.

With your consent, Clarity records page views and interactions such as clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement, along with technical data such as browser, device type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the referring page. It sets the first-party cookies _clck and _clsk. Text you type into form fields is masked by Clarity by default. Advertising storage is always denied.

• Why: to improve the Sites.
• Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time (section 6).
• Who processes it: Microsoft Corporation, as our processor, under the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

3.2 Delivering the Sites

To deliver pages, our hosting provider, Microsoft Azure (Azure Static Web Apps), necessarily processes your IP address and request details. We do not add tracking to these requests and we do not combine them with other data.

• Why: to deliver the Sites and keep them secure.
• Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating secure websites; under the DPDP Act, a legitimate use for providing the service you request.

3.3 Stored only in your browser

These items are kept in your browser's storage. They are not sent to us.

The Theme Designer runs entirely in your browser. The colors, names, and files you create there are not sent to us. If you add a web font from Google Fonts or Bunny Fonts to a theme, the preview loads that font from the provider you chose, which receives your IP address under its own privacy policy.

3.4 Messages you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your message, and anything you attach. We use them to reply and, for security reports, to investigate and to credit you in an advisory if you agree.

• Legal basis: your consent, given by contacting us, and our legitimate interest in handling security reports.

We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or make automated decisions about you.

4. How long we keep data

• Analytics: Microsoft keeps Clarity data for the periods set out in Clarity's documentation; we do not keep separate copies.
• Browser storage: stays in your browser until you clear it or, for withdrawal of analytics consent, until you change your choice.
• Messages: kept as long as needed to handle your request, and for security reports, for as long as the related advisory is published.

5. Where data is processed

Microsoft may process Clarity and hosting data outside India, including in the United States. Where the GDPR applies, Microsoft relies on its own transfer safeguards, described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

6. Your choices and rights

• Change your analytics choice: use Cookie settings in the footer of any of the Sites. Withdrawing consent removes the Clarity cookies on that site and reloads the page. Each site keeps its own choice.
• Your rights: depending on the law that applies to you, you can ask to access, correct, complete, update, or erase your personal data; withdraw consent; nominate another person to exercise your rights; object to or restrict processing; and receive a copy of your data. Email legalops@kasadara.com. We will respond within the time the applicable law requires.
• Grievances: send privacy concerns to legalops@kasadara.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India or, where the GDPR applies, to your local data protection authority.

Much of the data in section 3.1 is held by Microsoft and is not linked to your name, so we may be unable to identify which records relate to you.

7. Children

The Sites are intended for software professionals and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

8. Security

The Sites are static, served over HTTPS with a strict Content Security Policy, and collect no passwords or payment details. See our Security Policy.

9. Changes to this policy

We will post any change on this page with a new effective date. If a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we will ask for your consent again where the law requires it.
